About the event

Kaipātiki Project are calling on the community to join them in this endeavour and are looking to grow a group of committed volunteers.

Registration is required for this free event: https://kaipatiki.org.nz/whats-on/te-ara-awataha-community-regeneration-event/

What to Expect: We work across the greenway reserves to actively regenerate native flora and fauna. We provide hands-on education led by Kaipātiki Project ecologist, and access to all necessary tools and equipment.

About the Greenway: Northcote’s greenway runs through the heart of the town, following the recently daylighted Awataha stream. This greenway connects several local reserves with each other and with the community, creating a vibrant, interconnected natural space.

This is a fantastic opportunity to:

  • Connect with nature and your community
